Meet Kyle Barker, a man who wears many hats and excels at all of them. As the designer and of the revolutionary NewtForce mound, Kyle has changed the game for pitching coaches, by delivering ground force data integrated with high-speed cameras and other cutting-edge technology between pitches. An avid sports fan and golfer, Kyle has combined his passion for sports and technology to deliver innovative platforms for companies and coaches to grow and win.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg for this successful business owner, as the president of AeroNautique Aircraft Design & Analysis, he has been a major player in the corporate aircraft sector for over 30 years, with a career that includes key roles in the development of top-of-the-line aircrafts like the Bombardier Challenger 300 and the Dassault Falcon Jet 7X. With a background in aerospace engineering and a wealth of experience in aircraft certification, manufacturing technology, and technical management, Kyle is a true expert in the MRO and OEM aviation industry. 

One thing's for sure, he is a driven and dedicated professional who always delivers results. 

“In 10 years, whether it’s our product or someone else’s, (a force-measuring mound) will be a baseline metric and kids will grow up on it, then they will go off to be coaches,” Barker said. “I think the foundation is laid and it’s unavoidable.” --KYLE BARKER 

ZACH DAY

Co-Founder

Meet Zach Day, a jack-of-all-trades in the world of business, technology, and sports. With over 25 years of experience in the sports industry, Day brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to NewtForce, where he currently helps drive business development, strategy, sales, and partnerships.

Day is best known as a pioneer of baseball's data revolution, having spent 12 years playing professional baseball, including almost 5 years at the major league level. He then spent 13 years at TrackMan, where he served as the baseball subject matter expert, helping MLB teams understand and utilize data for player development and scouting. Day also helped expand TrackMan into the Asian and NCAA markets and managed sales and partnerships for 85% of Major League Stadiums in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

After his tenure at TrackMan, Day joined Prep Baseball Report, where he led the charge to build simple pitch scores to increase the value and reach of Trackman data for players, coaches, and scouts. He also served as VP of Integrations at 3motionAI, where he drove business development through key partners by enabling them to integrate 3motionAI's 3D motion capture engine within their solutions. 3D tracking provides a more comprehensive and accurate picture of an individual's movement patterns, allowing for more precise analysis and targeted interventions, helping prevent injuries.
